During the 1980s, several prominent scientists—including astrophysicist Thomas P. Armstrong, paleobiologist Allison "Pete" Palmer, and geologist William Winn Hay—were widely cited as recognizing scientific miracles in the Quran after attending a conference hosted by Saudi Arabia’s International Commission on Scientific Signs in Qur’an & Sunnah. However, unedited follow-up interviews conducted nearly thirty years later revealed a starkly different story: all three professors explicitly refuted these claims, indicating that their original statements had been taken out of context to fabricate endorsements.
